Gone Too Soon

In Tribute to Bernie Mac (1957-2008)

Now, on a very rare occasion you may find a post here at Magus Masonica that has zero to do with the M.E.A.P.R.M.M. or even Freemasonry. Today is one of those posts. I am shocked at
and deeply saddened by the news of the loss of the great Bernie Mac. At only 50 (in reality not all that much older than myself) he was taken from this Earth far too soon.

Bernie Mac was a great comic talent. I remember the first time I got the chance to see his stand up routine. I have never laughed so hard. I found that a lot of his comedy I could also relate too. It hit home for me.

He was a big man, with a big heart who produced in me really big laughs. In my time I have found laughter to be one of the best medicines. For purely selfish reasons I am really going to miss Bernie Mac.

My thoughts are with the Mac family.

We Are Growing

One of the most wonderful thing is to watch something that you love grow. Weather it be a simple seed that blooms into a beautiful flower or a beloved child that grows into a solid adult. That same feeling can also be translated to a cause that you believe in. I have found something absolutely beautiful with the M.E.A.P.R.M.M. that it is not only my right to promote it, it is my responsibility. It is with great pleasure that I announce that as of today, we have grown into yet another fine American state.

Under the leadership of my good friend and Brother Rev. Roger D. Thompson. Rev.Roger is an accomplished Magus, a dear friend and a true Brother. Under his leadership and with the cooperation of the other sovereign nations within the USA, the Masoneria Egipcia del Antiguo Primitivo Rito de Memphis Misraim (M.E.A.R.P.M.M.) State of Utah will become a huge success.
